Rising Son was formally known as Alleluia Lutheran. Rising Son is a Pacific Southwest District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod mission outreach. In June of 2010 Christ Greenfield Lutheran Church in Gilbert partnered with the Pacific Southwest District to reach out to the students at Arizona State University.
